Samrat Steel

You can find Samrat Steel over in Shahdara, specifically in Harsh Vihar. We are situated near Thana Harsh Vihar, so the police station is a good landmark if you are trying to find us. The area is usually quite active with local traffic and people going about their business. Our place is not very complicated. We have the main area where the steel is kept and a small corner for the paperwork. It gets quite dusty around here because of the road, but we try to keep the stock clean enough. We start the day by opening the big gates. Then we check what needs to be moved out for the day. Samrat Steel has been a part of this neighborhood for a bit now. We know the other shopkeepers around Harsh Vihar quite well. Sometimes we go over for tea or they come here to chat when things are slow. It isn't a high-tech operation. We use our hands and basic tools mostly. The noise from the nearby station and the main road is just something you get used to after a week of working here. When customers come, we just talk to them about what they need and see if we have the right lengths in the back. It is simple work, really. We stay until the sun goes down and then we lock up and head home to eat. There is nothing more to it than that.
