Aleena Fabrications

Aleena Fabrications is our welding shop at A-20, Gali No. 7 in the A-Block of Old Mustafabad. We are right near the Dilshad Masjid, so it's easy to find us if you're in the area. The shop is basically a large open garage filled with metal pipes, iron sheets, and welding machines. It’s a noisy place with the sound of grinding and hammering going on all day. We make all sorts of things like security gates, window grills, and railings. It’s heavy, dirty work and we are usually covered in soot by the time we close up. We don't have an office or a computer. We just take measurements on scraps of paper and get to work. The shop can get very dusty, especially when the wind blows through the gali. We don't have any corporate branding. Most of our work comes from people in Old Mustafabad who need something built for their homes. We've been at this for a long time and know our way around a welding torch. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We work hard to get the orders finished on time, even when the heat in the shop gets a bit much during the summer months. It's just a local workshop doing practical metalwork for the neighborhood. There is usually a pile of scrap metal near the entrance that we sort through once a week.
