Our factory and office are located over in Nand Nagri, specifically in the E - 5/69 block. If you have ever been to this part of Delhi, you know it is a place where people really work with their hands. Vidya Metal Mfg.Co.Pvt.Ltd. has been based here for quite some time now. The air usually smells a bit like iron and there is always a rhythmic sound of machines running in the background. It is not the quietest place to spend a day, but it is where the real work happens. We have the manufacturing area where the metals get processed and then a small office section where we handle the orders and the billing. The building itself is sturdy and built for utility rather than looks. We have big doors for the trucks to come in and out because moving metal requires a lot of space and heavy lifting. Our team is a mix of people who have been doing this for decades and some newer faces. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty; we focus more on making sure the machines are oiled and the shipments go out on time. The streets around Nand Nagri can be tight, so we are always coordinating with drivers to make sure nobody gets stuck. It is a grit-and-grind type of environment, honest and straightforward, just like the people who work here every day. We usually have a bit of a lunch break together near the main gate.
