Sai International S. S. Works

We are over here in Hardev Puri, right near Street 13. Most people just call us the steel guys. It’s a busy spot in Shahdara and we’ve been at 367A for a while now. My brother and I started doing stainless steel work because we noticed people needed sturdy railings and gates that don't rust out in a year. We spend most of our days cutting pipes and welding stuff together. It gets pretty loud in the shop when the grinders are going. Sometimes the dust is everywhere but that is just part of the job. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People usually just walk in with a rough drawing on a piece of paper or show us a photo on their phone. We look at it, tell them if we can do it, and give a price. It is straightforward. We do a lot of kitchen sinks and grill work for the houses around here. Street 13 can be a bit tight for parking so most folks just walk over. The weather gets hot in the summer and the metal gets even hotter to touch. We just keep the fans going and finish what needs to be done. It is not glamorous work but it keeps us busy. We like being in this part of town because everyone knows everyone. If you need a bracket or a pipe cut, we just handle it without a fuss.
