Quality Control Engineer (Civil)

I’m a civil engineer working on quality control out of Yamuna Vihar in Delhi. My office is at B-3/125. Delhi is a huge, fast place, but Yamuna Vihar has its own rhythm. I’ve been in this specific spot for a long time. My work involves a lot of checking on building sites and making sure the civil works are solid. It’s a lot of responsibility because people’s safety depends on it. I don't have a fancy office with big glass windows. It's a regular room filled with site maps, measuring tapes, and old reports. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but I’m too busy to worry about that. I usually spend my mornings at different construction sites across the city and my afternoons here at B-3/125. I don't use any marketing tricks to get clients. Most people find me because someone else told them I do a thorough job. I like to keep things straightforward. If there’s a problem with a structure, I point it out immediately. No sugarcoating. That’s just the way I work. Being in North East Delhi, I see a lot of new things being built every day. It keeps me busy. I’m just a regular person who knows a lot about concrete and steel. I don't need much more than my tools and a clear plan to get through the day. It’s my life and I enjoy it.
