Bechtel India Pvt.Ltd operates out of this space at J281/34B on Street No-7 in Kartar Nagar, Delhi. It’s one of those parts of the city where the streets are numbered but everyone still gets lost trying to find the right house. We are tucked away in a residential-looking block. The office itself is pretty compact. We have some old wooden furniture and the lighting isn't the brightest, but it’s where we do our daily work. There is always a lot of activity on Street 7, mostly people going to the market or kids cycling around. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we just take that time to chat or step outside for some air. We aren't trying to be a fancy corporate hub. It’s more of a functional spot for our small team to manage things. We have a water cooler in the corner and a lot of registers stacked up on the shelves. Most of us take the bus or ride a bike to get here. It’s a very grounded atmosphere. No one wears suits or anything like that. We just focus on getting the work done and keeping the office running. If you ever come by, you’ll probably see us through the window. It’s a simple life here in Delhi 110053. We’ve been at this Kartar Nagar address for a while and like being part of the local community.
