Precision Engineering Works

Our place, Precision Engineering Works, is located in the DSIDC sheds in Phase-II of Nand Nagri. Specifically, we are at shed number 3/9. This is an industrial area, so it is pretty loud and there are trucks moving in and out all the time. We have been working out of this shed for quite a while now. The inside is filled with lathes, milling machines, and stacks of raw material. It is not the cleanest place in the world, but it is an engineering shop, so that is expected. We focus on making parts that need to be exact. We spend hours measuring and cutting metal to get things just right. We don't have a fancy office upstairs; we just have a small desk in the corner where we keep the invoices and drawings. Most of the time, we are out on the floor actually working the machines. We don't really do any advertising. People find us because they need something made and they know we are here in the sheds. It gets pretty hot inside during the summer, but we keep the fans going and just get on with it. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to fix it ourselves before we can get back to the customer's order. It is just the way it goes here. We aren't corporate people, just engineers doing our jobs and trying to keep the machines humming.
