Nirulas

This Nirulas is tucked into the D.D.A. Flats at B-735, right east of Loni Road. It’s a residential area, so we get a lot of people who live right nearby. We aren’t in a big shopping mall with neon lights everywhere. It’s a humble spot where we focus on the food and getting orders out on time. The kitchen is always busy, and you can usually hear the sounds of cooking from the front counter. We have some tables for folks who want to sit down, but a lot of our neighbors just grab something to take home. It gets pretty crowded on weekend evenings when families come by for a treat. Sometimes we run out of certain items if the delivery truck is late, which happens more than we’d like given the Delhi traffic. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just make the food that people have known for years. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the floor stays scuffed from all the foot traffic, but that’s just a sign that people are actually coming in. We know a lot of the customers by name since they’ve been coming here for ages. It’s a local place for local people. No fluff, just a regular kitchen doing its thing every day of the week. We might get the occasional order wrong when it's busy, but we always make it right.
