Khan Iron Store

Khan Iron Store is located in Sonia Vihar, specifically at the 3rd Pusta along the main service road. This area is always busy with trucks and bikes zooming past, so there is usually a layer of dust on everything we own. Our shop is basically a big storage area for iron. We spend most of our time moving heavy rods and sheets around to make space for new deliveries. It is not the kind of place where you would find anything fancy or decorative. We just have what people need for their building projects. Working on the main service road means we get a lot of noise, but it also makes it easier for people to pull over and see what we have. We started this place at the 3rd Pusta because it seemed like a good spot to reach people in Sonia Vihar. Every morning we open up and start the process of organizing the piles of iron. It is heavy work and it makes your back ache by the end of the shift, but it is what we do. We are just normal people working a regular job. We don't have any big corporate plans or anything like that. We just want to keep the store running and make sure the stacks of iron stay organized so we can find things when someone asks for them. It is a long day but it is okay. We like the rhythm of the work here.
