J K Standard Steel Craft

Our shop, J K Standard Steel Craft, is located at B110 in Gali No 2. We are in the Mustafabad area, specifically near Chaman Park. If you find the PNB Bank, we are quite close to that. The lanes here are a bit narrow, so it can be a squeeze when we are trying to bring in long steel bars or sheets. We do a lot of steel work, mainly making things like gates, grills, or small frames. It’s a lot of bending, cutting, and joining metal. The sound of hammers is pretty much constant during the day. We are a small local operation, so it’s usually just a couple of us working at a time. The shop gets quite dusty with all the metal shavings, but we try to sweep up every evening. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. We’ve known the neighbors around Gali No 2 for a long time, and they often stop by just to say hello or ask for a small repair. We don't have a big office or a website; most of our work comes from people just walking in or being told about us by someone else in Mustafabad. It’s a simple way of doing business where we focus on the task at hand. We use basic tools and our own hands to get the steel into the right shape. Sometimes we even have to work out on the street if the piece we are making is too long.
