R. K. Garments

The shop is located at E 1/25 in Nehru Vihar, which is a part of Dayalpur that stays pretty crowded most of the time. R. K. Garments is really just a regular place where we keep a lot of clothes and fabric stacked up on the shelves. When you walk in, you’ll see piles of shirts and trousers that we are constantly moving around to keep things organized, though it never stays neat for very long. The lighting inside is just those standard tube lights, and the floor is plain tiles. We spend a lot of time just folding things and talking to the people who walk in from the street. Nehru Vihar has its own rhythm, and we are right in the middle of it. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we are always dusting off the counters. It isn’t a high-end boutique or anything like that. It’s just a local garment business where we do our daily work. Usually, we open up early and stay until the street gets quiet at night. The neighbors around here are friendly, and we often share a cup of tea while waiting for the next person to come in. There is always a bit of chatter and the sound of motorcycles passing by outside. We don't have fancy displays, just the stuff we sell. It’s a practical setup and it works for us. We just keep busy with the stock and try to stay on top of things.
