Our main office and workshop is at H.O. - C - 36 on Street No. 6, right off Dayal Pur Karawal Nagar Road. It’s a busy street with lots of traffic and people moving around. Inside our building, it’s mostly the sound of sewing machines and people cutting fabric. We have stacks of cloth everywhere, in different colors and materials. It’s not a very quiet place to work. We spend a lot of time checking the stitching and making sure the sizes are right. The lighting is bright so we can see what we are doing. We’ve got several rows of machines set up, and the workers are usually busy from morning until evening. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time backing into the street because it's a bit narrow. We’ve been doing apparel work here for a good while. It’s not like a big corporate factory; it feels more like a local workshop. We have a small corner where we keep the finished garments packed in plastic before they go out. There is always a lot of thread on the floor at the end of the day. We drink our tea standing up most of the time. It’s just regular folks making clothes for people to wear. We don’t have a fancy showroom, just the production floor and some storage. We just focus on getting the orders finished and sent off on time. It gets hot in the summer with all the machines running.
