Ansari Steel

Ansari Steel is located on Harmala Road, right in the Ashok Nagar area. We are quite close to the Phool Mandi, so in the mornings you can often smell the flowers mixed with the smell of the metal in our yard. It is an interesting place to work because of that contrast. Harmala Road is a busy stretch, and we have a lot of foot traffic and vehicles passing by all day long. Our setup is pretty basic, with stacks of steel and a small area where we handle the paperwork. We have been here long enough that most of the local builders and residents know our faces. We don't go in for fancy advertising or anything like that. People just see the steel out front and stop in if they need something. The work can be tiring, especially when the sun is beating down on the Ashok Nagar streets, but we have a good rhythm going. We check the lengths, cut what needs cutting, and help load the trucks when they arrive. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when multiple orders come in at once, but we always figure it out in the end. It is a local business run by regular people who just want to do a decent day's work and keep the shop running for the next generation. That’s pretty much all there is to it. We don’t try to be anything we are not.
