Our little spot is tucked away in Balbir Nagar Extension, over here in Shahdara. It's a typical Delhi neighborhood, always something going on outside the door. We've been operating out of 191A for a bit now. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, but people find us eventually. We deal with jobs and hiring, mostly just helping folks get their paperwork sorted. It isn't a massive corporate skyscraper, just a regular office space where we try to keep things running. The tea guy comes around twice a day, which is the highlight for some of us. We talk to a lot of local people looking for work in the city. Delhi is big and confusing, so having a place in Shahdara makes it easier for people on this side of the river. We don't use big words or fancy promises. If there is a job, we tell you. If not, we keep your name on file. It's practical work. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and chat for a bit. It is what it is. We are just regular people working here, trying to make the process a little less stressful for everyone who comes in. Nothing too polished about it, just a desk and some hard work every day. It gets hot in the summer, but the fans keep us going through the afternoon rush. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to keep the mood light while we sort through the latest applications.
