Walk-In Jobs

We are located at Flat No. 19C in the Hans Vihar complex, which is over in Sector-13 of Rohini. Our name is Walk-In Jobs, and that is pretty much how it works here. People just come by the flat when they are looking for something new to do. It is a residential building, so it feels very different from a typical office park. You have to go through the main gate and find our block, which sometimes confuses the delivery drivers. Inside, the living room serves as our main workspace where we keep all the files and the computer. It gets a bit loud when three or four people are talking on the phone at the same time. We have a lot of resumes printed out and stacked on the dining table because we run out of shelf space constantly. The fans hum all day long to keep the Delhi heat away, though it still gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons. We started this because we knew a lot of folks in Rohini who needed a hand finding decent work. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us sitting around and making calls. It is a very practical way to spend the day. We try to keep things honest and tell people exactly what the situation is with the jobs we find. It is not a glamorous setup, but it gets the job done for the neighborhood.
