Indian Companies Expanded is over at 452, Haider Quli. That’s right in the Chandni Chowk area of Delhi. If you’ve been there, you know it’s one of the oldest and busiest markets in the world. Our office is in a building that has probably been there for a hundred years. The stairs are narrow and the rooms are small. We focus on keeping track of different companies and how they are growing. It’s a lot of data entry and looking up records in old books or on the computer. We don't have a big sign outside. You just have to know which door to go into. It’s noisy outside with all the people and the carts moving through the alleys, but inside it’s a bit calmer. We spend our time trying to organize information so it makes sense. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll see people in suits. We mostly wear casual clothes and focus on the task at hand. Sometimes we have to go out into the market to verify things, which is always an adventure. We’ve been at this address for a while and we like being in the center of all that history. It’s just a basic operation where we keep our heads down and do the work without making much noise. There is always a lot to do because the business world in India is always changing.
