Mahesh Placement Agency

Mahesh Placement Agency is over in Civil Lines. We are at Wazirabad Complex No. 90, specifically on Street No. 6. It’s a bit of an older building, which gives it some character, I suppose. The halls are narrow and it stays cool in the winter but can get pretty warm in the summer months. We’ve got a couple of old desks and chairs that have been with us since we started. Most of our day is spent listening to people tell us their stories. They come here looking for jobs, hoping for something better, and we listen. It’s a lot of listening, really. We keep our records in big binders and on one old computer that sometimes takes its time to start up. Street No. 6 is usually crowded with bikes parked everywhere, so it’s better if people walk here from the main road. We don't put out big signs or anything. People mostly find us through word of mouth or by just seeing the name on the door. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. It’s just us trying to help people find a place to work. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot of paperwork to finish, but usually, we head home as soon as the sun goes down. It’s just a regular way to make a living in a busy city like this. We don't mind the quiet days because they give us time to organize.
