V K Brothers

V K Brothers is located over in Azad Market, right at Gali Telian 936. If you know this part of Delhi, you know how crowded and loud it gets every single day. It’s a narrow lane and there’s always something happening right outside our door, like carts moving or people arguing over prices. We’ve been here at number 936 for a long time. It’s a family thing, mostly just brothers working together and trying to stay organized. The shop isn't very big, so we have to be really smart about where we stack all the boxes. Sometimes it feels like a maze just to get to the back desk where we keep the records. We start our day quite early because the market wakes up way before most other people do. Customers come in and out all day, some looking for very specific things and others just asking what we have in stock. We don't really do much advertising or any of that fancy stuff. People mostly find us because they’re already walking through Gali Telian looking for goods. It gets very noisy with all the rickshaws and people shouting, but that’s just the way Azad Market works. We spend our time talking to suppliers and checking the stock. It’s not always easy working in such a cramped space with the heat, but we’ve gotten used to it. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
