Sun Star Shoes

Sun Star Shoes is tucked away at Wz - 255 in the Bhagirath Palace area of Madi Pur. If you know the area near Baba Pur, you know it’s a place where people are always moving and working. Our shop is full of the smell of new leather and rubber. We have stacks of shoe boxes reaching almost to the ceiling, and sometimes it feels like we’re running out of room to move around. We don't have a big fancy showroom with bright lights. Instead, we have shelves packed with different styles and sizes. It’s a bit cramped, but it’s where we do our business every day. We spend most of our time checking the quality of the stitching and making sure the soles are on tight. The area can get pretty hectic with rickshaws and delivery carts everywhere in the lanes. We don't use any big fancy words to describe what we do. We just make and sell shoes. Some days are long, especially when we get a big shipment in, and we all have to pitch in to get everything moved. We don’t have a big corporate office or a board of directors. It’s just us here in Madi Pur, trying to make sure every pair that leaves Sun Star Shoes is decent enough for someone to wear. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. No frills, just hard work.
