You can find Shree Radhe Govinda Pharmaceutical right in the heart of Chandni Chowk. If you’ve ever been here, you know how narrow the lanes are and how many people are constantly rushing past. Our shop is part of that old, historic fabric of the city. It’s a bit of a challenge getting stock in and out through the crowds, but we’ve been doing it so long we hardly think about it anymore. The building is old, with high ceilings and walls that have seen a lot of history. Inside, it’s mostly just rows and rows of medicines. We don't have any modern decor or fancy lighting. It’s just the basics. We spend our time fulfilling orders and chatting with the other local traders. There’s a lot of noise from the rickshaws and the vendors outside, which is just part of the atmosphere of working in Chandni Chowk. We aren't big on marketing or social media. We rely on the fact that we’ve been here a long time and people know our face. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the alleys a bit messy, but we keep our stock high and dry. It’s a busy, sometimes chaotic place to work, but we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. We just focus on being helpful and keeping the shelves stocked with whatever the local doctors are asking for. It’s a long day from start to finish, but we enjoy being right in the center of the action.
