Bhagirath Place in Chandni Chowk is where you will find Surya Pharma En., specifically at 1596 on the first floor. It is a crowded place as anyone who has ever been to the Chandni Chowk markets knows. The stairs up to our office are a bit steep and the hallways are usually full of boxes or people rushing around with orders. Being in Bhagirath Place means we are right in the thick of things when it comes to the pharma trade. It gets very noisy outside with the rickshaws and the loaders shouting to clear the way through the narrow lanes. We spend most of our time at the desks checking invoices and making sure the inventory matches what the suppliers sent over. The walls are lined with shelves that stay pretty full. It is not the kind of office you see in a magazine. It is dusty and cluttered but we know where everything is. Lunch is usually something picked up from a nearby stall because the food around here is hard to beat. We work long hours because the market never really stops moving. Sometimes the cooling isn't great in the summer but we have a couple of fans going to keep it bearable for the staff. We aren't doing anything flashy here, just moving medicine and keeping the paperwork straight. It is a bit of a maze getting to the first floor but once you’re inside it’s a standard workspace. We’ve been at this 1596 address for a good bit now in Chandni Chow or Chandni Chowk.
