Shib Dass & Sons Pvt. Ltd. is tucked away at 4997-98 in Hauz Qazi. Anyone who knows Delhi knows that Hauz Qazi is the place to go for hardware and tools. Our shop is part of that long history of trade in these narrow streets. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, and the building we are in has been around for ages. You can see it in the way the stone steps are worn down from so many people coming and going. We keep a massive variety of items in stock, and sometimes it’s a bit of a maze trying to navigate the back rooms to find a specific wrench or a valve. The street outside is always noisy with carts, people shouting, and the general chaos of the market. We spend our days behind the counter, helping people who know exactly what they want and some who have no idea. We don’t do things in a very modern way; we still write things down and keep track of our regulars by memory. It’s a very human way of doing business. There are no corporate handbooks here. We just get people what they asked for and try to keep the shelves stocked.
