Asba Leather Works

Asba Leather Works is at No. 52, which is a ground floor LIG DDA flat in Sarai Khalil. We are right in the middle of the Sadar Bazar area, and the Sadar Thana is just a short walk away. If you know anything about Sadar Bazar, you know it is one of the most crowded and hectic markets you can find. Being on the ground floor of a flat makes it a bit easier for us to move our materials in and out. We work with leather all day long, so the smell of hides and polish is something we don't even notice anymore, though visitors usually do. This isn't a high-end boutique or a fancy factory. It is just our workspace where we cut, sew, and finish leather goods. We have been here for a long time and we have seen a lot of people come and go from Sarai Khalil. The street noise is constant, with rickshaws and carts moving past our door at all hours. We don't have a website or a big marketing plan. We just rely on the work we do and the people who know us in the bazaar. It is a very hands-on job, and our hands are usually a bit stained from the dyes we use. We keep our tools sharp and our heads down. It is a practical business run by people who actually know how to work with their hands. We like being part of the history of Sadar Bazar.
