Shelter Estate

Shelter Estate is located right in the middle of the chaos that is Sadar Bazar. We are over at Office No 869, which is actually connected to Godown No 864 on Qutab Road. It is a busy spot, especially being right opposite Vishal Mega Mart. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets with shoppers and delivery trucks. Our space is half-office and half-storage, so there are always boxes and files stacked up in the corners. It’s not the quietest place to work, but it feels alive. We spend a lot of our mornings just clearing the entrance so people can actually get in. Sadar Bazar has a specific rhythm, and we’ve become part of it over the years. We don’t have fancy carpets or glass walls. It’s just a practical space where we can sit down and talk to people. Most of our day is spent dealing with the local logistics and talking to folks from the market. The air is always filled with the sound of horns and vendors shouting, which makes it hard to hear on the phone sometimes. We just step outside or shout back. It’s a grit-and-grind kind of life here. We don’t try to make it look like something it isn't. It’s an old-school way of working in an old-school part of Delhi. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the market starts to close.
