We are located at No.1992 on the first floor of Bhagirath Palace. This part of Delhi, Katra Lachhu Singh, is famous for being one of the biggest electrical markets you’ll ever see. M C B House is right in the middle of all that chaos. If you’ve ever been to Bhagirath Palace, you know how narrow the lanes are and how many people are carrying heavy loads on their shoulders. Our shop is filled from floor to ceiling with circuit breakers, switches, and all kinds of electrical gear. It’s a bit cramped because we try to keep as much stock as possible on hand. The lighting isn't great, and there is always a layer of dust on the higher shelves. We don't have time for fancy displays. Most customers just come in, tell us what they need, and we pull it from the stack. It’s a loud place with people shouting prices and rickshaws clattering outside. We’ve been here long enough that we don't even notice the noise anymore. We spend our days counting inventory and writing out bills by hand. It’s a gritty, fast-paced way to work, but it’s what we know. There’s a certain rhythm to the market that you get used to after a while. We just provide the parts that keep the lights on for everyone else. It’s honest work in a very crowded part of the old city, and we stay busy from morning until night.
