If you head down to Gulabi Bagh G T Karnal Road B-74, that’s where you’ll find Great India Real Estate. We’re right by the main road, so it’s never really quiet. The office is pretty basic, just some old furniture and a fan that squeaks a bit when it’s on the high setting. We spend most of our time dealing with land and residential plots. It involves a lot of driving out to see spots that are often just dusty fields. We’ve been working in this area for a good while, so we know the history of most of the plots around here. We don’t have a flashy website or a big team of sales people. It’s just a few of us who grew up around here and decided to get into the property business. Sometimes the deals fall through at the last minute, which is frustrating, but that’s just how it goes in this industry. We talk to a lot of farmers and developers, and it’s usually over a glass of water in a hot office. We don’t try to act like we’re some big corporate entity. We’re just a local business trying to make a living by connecting people with the right piece of land. It’s practical, sometimes boring, and always busy. We just keep track of the listings and hope the traffic on GT Karnal Road isn’t too bad today. It's a lot of waiting for people who are running late.
