Satyawati Drugs & Departmental Store is located at Satyawati Bhawan, occupying the 2/3 and 2/4 units on the Main Road in Roop Nagar. We are right near Gopal Puri Wala, which is a place most people around here know well. We are a bit different because we handle both medicines and general household items. It keeps us on our toes because you have to be very careful with the drug side of things while also managing the groceries. Delhi is always moving fast, and Roop Nagar is no exception. We see a lot of students and families throughout the day. The building, Satyawati Bhawan, has been around for a long time, and we’ve made our home here. We don’t have a fancy layout. The shelves are packed with everything from cough syrup to bags of lentils. It’s a lot of work to manage both sides of the business, but we’ve been doing it long enough that it feels natural now. We don't use any high-tech systems; we mostly rely on our memory and some old-fashioned record keeping. We know many of our customers by their first names and even know what medications they usually need. It’s a neighborhood shop through and through. If you are in the 110007 area and need a prescription filled or just some snacks for the house, we are the place to stop. We just take things one day at a time.
