Rajdhani Bearings

Rajdhani Bearings is located on the ground floor over at Punja Sharif in Kashmere Gate. If you know the area, you know it’s always packed with people and vehicles. We are at 302/3, and it’s a pretty busy spot. Our shelves are filled with boxes of all sizes. Bearings are heavy things, so we do a lot of lifting and moving stuff around. It’s not the quietest place to work. There is always the sound of rickshaws and horns outside. We’ve been here a long time, so we don’t really notice the noise anymore. The shop is a bit dim because the buildings are so close together, but we have some good lights inside. We spend a lot of time checking numbers on boxes to make sure we have the right parts. Sometimes the delivery guys bring the wrong stuff and we have to sort it out. It’s just part of the daily life in Kashmere Gate. We have a small desk where we keep the ledger. It’s a bit old-fashioned, maybe, but it works for us. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the fanciest shop on the block. We just want to make sure people get what they need. We know most of the other shop owners around here. We usually share some tea in the afternoon when things slow down a little bit. It's a tight community in this part of town. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
