Overseas Commercial Corporation

We've been here in Chandni Chowk for a while now. Our place is on the second floor over in Gali Khal Beg. If you know Farash Khana, you know it gets pretty crowded around here with all the narrow lanes and people everywhere. Overseas Commercial Corporation is just a small setup really, nothing like those big offices you see in the newer parts of the city. We deal with various commercial things from this office every day. It’s an old building, which is typical for this part of Delhi, so the walls have some character and the stairs are a bit steep. Getting up to the second floor takes a minute but we are used to it by now. The streets downstairs are always full of people moving goods and rickshaws going back and forth, making a lot of noise. We just handle our day-to-day work from here. It isn't a fancy office with big signs or anything like that. Just some old desks, a few chairs, and lots of files. Most people find us because they already know the area well or were told about us by someone else. We try to keep things simple and just get the work done without making a big fuss. The lights flicker sometimes when the weather is bad but we just keep going. Living and working here means you see a lot of real life every day. It's noisy, but it’s where we started. We don't have a big team, just a few of us. Sometimes the stairs are a bit dusty, but that’s just how it is here.
