If you want to find R D Pharma, you have to head into the heart of Bhagirath Palace. We are on the 3rd Floor of the J P Building, address 1520/329. Bhagirath Palace is a famous place, especially for medicines, but it’s also very crowded and messy. The lanes are narrow, and there are always people carrying heavy boxes on their shoulders. Our building, J P Building, is just like the others around it—a bit weathered and very busy. Climbing up to the 3rd floor is a bit of a workout because the stairs are steep and narrow. Once you’re inside our office, it’s a different world. It’s small and packed with files and stock. We don’t have any room for corporate polish here. It’s all about the daily trade and getting the medicine orders out. The noise from the market below never really stops, and you can hear the shouting of the traders all day. We drink a lot of tea and spend a lot of time on the phone. It’s a very old-school way of doing business, but it’s how things work in this part of Delhi.
