We operate Premier Bags out of the A-2 unit in the Mayapuri Industrial Area. It’s a busy part of Fatehpuri with trucks coming and going all day. The noise is something you just learn to live with. Inside the unit, we have stacks of materials and sewing machines running. It’s not a showroom; it’s a workshop where things actually get made. My hands are usually stained from the dyes or tired from handling the heavy fabrics. We don't spend money on fancy decorations for the office. Most of the space is taken up by the bags we’re finishing. I’ve been in this industrial area for a long time now. You meet all sorts of workers and owners around here. We drink tea from the stall at the corner and talk about the day's work. The floors are concrete and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. But that doesn't matter much when you're focused on getting orders out. Some days the heat in the workshop is quite a lot, especially in the afternoons. We just keep the fans going and carry on. It’s hard work, but it’s honest. People know where to find us in Mayapuri if they need bags. We aren’t trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a production floor where we put in the hours every single day.
