Mahamai Pharmaceuticals

Our office is tucked away in Onkar Bhawan, right in the heart of Bhagirath Place. If you know this area, you know how hectic it gets. Mahamai Pharmaceuticals operates out of room 1705. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend most of our time talking to distributors and sorting out orders for different pharmacies. The walls are lined with files and some old calendars. We don't have any fancy decorations because there isn't much room for that. We mostly focus on bulk supplies. Dealing with the heat in this building is probably our biggest challenge during June. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for deliveries to show up. It’s a family-run sort of setup, so things are pretty casual. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the street noise outside. We’ve been at this address for a while now, and the neighbors are all in the same trade. We know the local porters by name. They help us move the heavy crates when new stock arrives. We try to keep things organized, but in a place like Bhagirath Place, things can get messy pretty fast. We just do our bit and go home in the evening. It's a regular life for us here at the shop.
