Kailash Collection

Kailash Collection is over at 2096/3 in Kinari Bazar. If you know Chandni Chowk, you know how it gets. It is narrow and crowded every single day. We open up the shutters around ten and start moving things around. The shop isn't huge, so we have to use every bit of space on the shelves. Sometimes the handcarts outside make it hard to even get through the door. It is a lot of noise with people shouting and bells ringing. We sit here and handle whatever comes in. It gets dusty because of all the construction and the old buildings around us. We don't have fancy lights or anything like that. Just the regular tube lights that flicker sometimes. By the afternoon, the heat starts to come in from the lane. We usually just have some tea and keep working through the pile of things on the counter. It's a bit of a mess sometimes but we know where everything is kept. 2096/3 has been our spot for a long time now. You see the same faces every day, which is nice. Most of the time we are just checking the stock or talking to the guys in the next shop. It is just a regular day at Kailash Collection. Nothing special, just the work we do in the heart of the market.
