You can find us at G7-30 in the Main G.T. Karnal Road Industrial Area. If you have ever spent time around here, you know it is mostly about trucks and heavy machinery. Our unit is just like all the others in the lane—functional and very busy. We have a lot of stuff piled up inside because space is always tight in these units. The floor is just plain concrete and there is always a bit of dust because we are so close to the highway. We deal with various items and have to keep a very close eye on the stock levels. It is a loud place, especially during the middle of the day when everyone in the neighboring units is working at full speed. We have a small desk tucked away in the corner where we do the billing and take the phone calls. It is mostly men working here, moving heavy boxes and loading up the vehicles for delivery. We do not wear suits or anything like that; it is more about wearing comfortable clothes that can get a little bit dirty. Lunch is usually a tiffin brought from home, eaten quickly before the next truck arrives at the gate. It is not a glamorous job, but it is steady work for us. We have been at this G7-30 address for a while and have seen the area change.
