Jain Art

Jain Art is located over at 3519 Connaught Place on DB Gupta Road. It’s right in the middle of all that chaos that makes Delhi what it is. We have been sitting in this shop for a long time. The shelves are mostly full of things we’ve gathered over the years. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the cars go by on DB Gupta Road. Other days, we don't even have time to eat lunch because so many people are stopping in. It is a bit of a tight space inside. You have to be careful not to knock anything over when you walk through the aisles. We don’t really do any big ads or fancy signs. People usually just find us by walking past or because they heard about the shop from someone else in the neighborhood. The building itself is old, like most things in this part of town. It has that specific smell of paper and old wood that you only get in places that have been around for decades. We try to keep things simple. If someone needs something, we look for it. If we don’t have it, we say so. There’s no big corporate strategy behind it. It is just a local business trying to keep the doors open and the lights on every day. We don't worry about being the best, we just want to get through the work.
