Ganesh Varieties

Ganesh Varieties is tucked away at 41 Indra Market, right in the Old Subzi Mandi area. It’s a lively place, especially in the early hours when the market is waking up. We’ve got all sorts of things packed onto the shelves here. It’s the kind of shop where you might find what you need in a corner you didn't expect. My family has been around this market for a long time. We know the other shopkeepers and the guys who deliver the stock every week. It gets crowded and the noise from the street is constant, but it feels right to be in the middle of it all. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop where people come to browse. Some days it’s so busy you can barely move between the aisles. We try to keep things organized but with so many varieties of items, it’s a constant battle. The floor is a bit worn down from all the foot traffic over the years. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. If a customer can't find something, we usually know exactly which pile it's under. It’s a bit of an old-school way of doing things, but Ganesh Varieties has its own rhythm. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the city. We just want to be the place where the locals can find what they need without a fuss.
