Chinar Roadlines

Our office for Chinar Roadlines is situated at 4013 Naya Bazar. If you have ever been to Naya Bazar, you know it is one of the most crowded and hectic places around. There are trucks, carts, and people moving everywhere at all hours. Our office is a small room in an old building, filled with wooden desks and stacks of old transport registers. The air always smells a bit like spices and exhaust fumes from the street. We spend most of our time on the phone, talking to drivers and making sure the loads are moving the way they should. It is a lot of shouting sometimes just to be heard over the noise of the market outside. We do not have air conditioning, so the ceiling fan stays on high all year round. The walls are covered in calendars and notes scribbled on bits of paper. We have been in this spot for a long time, and we know all the other transporters on the block. We often sit together for tea and talk about the state of the roads or the latest traffic rules. It is a tough business with a lot of long hours, but it is what we know. We do not have a website or fancy brochures. People just know our name and where to find us in the bazar when they have something that needs to be moved.
