Bombay Hardware Store is located at Shop No-222. We are right inside the main market at Ajmeri Gate. It is a very old and crowded part of Delhi, 110006. If you take the metro, we are quite close to the Ajmeri Gate Metro Station. Finding our shop can be a bit tricky for newcomers because the market is like a giant maze. There are so many small shops squeezed together in every alley. We have all sorts of things piled up on our shelves. There are metal parts, various tools, boxes of screws, and things you might not even know the name of. It is dusty work and our hands are usually dirty by noon. We have been in this exact spot for a very long time. The shop is not big at all, so we have to use every single inch of the walls. There are boxes stacked up almost to the ceiling. Sometimes we have to use an old, shaky ladder just to get something down for a customer. It is incredibly noisy and crowded outside with rickshaws and people constantly moving back and forth. That is just how Ajmeri Gate is. We don't have any air conditioning in the shop, just a couple of old wall fans that move the hot air around. We drink tea from the little stall nearby a few times every day. Bombay Hardware Store is just a traditional family-run kind of place. We don't have a computer system for everything.
