Alankar

We’re located in the Shalimar Village Industrial Area, specifically at Gali Number 9. Our spot is on Khasra Number 291/295. It’s a very industrial part of town, so there’s always something going on outside. Lots of trucks, lots of noise, and plenty of activity. Alankar isn't a big, fancy company. We’re just a small outfit trying to do good work every day. The shop itself is pretty basic. We have the equipment we need and not much else. We don't see the point in having a decorated office when most of our time is spent on the floor. It gets quite hot in the summers here, so we have a few fans going all day. Sometimes it’s hard to hear over the sounds of the neighborhood, but we’re used to it. We don't use any high-level business talk. We just tell people what we can do and then we do it. If a job is tough, we just stay a bit later to finish it up. We’ve known the other people on Gali Number 9 for years. It’s the kind of place where people look out for each other. We’re proud of being part of the local industry here. It’s not glamorous, but it’s what we know. Just a bunch of us working hard. We usually wrap things up by early evening, unless there's an urgent delivery.
