Speedy Sons & Co.

Mullick Street is always crowded, and getting to number 2 involves dodging a few carts and people most mornings. Once you get inside and head up to the 2nd floor, things quiet down a little bit. We’ve been operating Speedy Sons & Co. from this spot for quite some time now. The office isn't anything fancy, just a few desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of paper stacked up. Sometimes the fan makes a clicking noise that we just got used to. We spend most of the day answering the phone or checking the ledgers. It gets warm in the afternoons when the sun hits the side of the building, but we usually just open the windows and deal with it. People come by to drop things off or ask questions, and we try to keep everything organized, though it can get a bit chaotic when three things happen at once. The floorboards creak a little near the entrance, and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it works for us. We just focus on getting the daily tasks done and making sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle. It's just a regular workplace where we show up, do what needs to be done, and then head home when the street lights start coming on. Nothing too complicated about it, just the way we do things here every day.
