Amrit Hatcheries Pvt. Ltd. is on the 6th floor of the Infinity Benchmark building. We are located in Block EP and GP in Sector V, which is the Salt Lake area of Kolkata. Being on the 6th floor means we have to take the lift every day, and sometimes you have to wait a while if it's the busy morning rush. Sector V is full of big glass buildings and lots of office workers, so it feels very different from a farm, even though we are in the hatchery business. We spend our time at our desks or in meetings, looking at charts and talking on the phone. It’s a lot of coordination to keep things running right. The office is just a regular office space with partitions and computers. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the paperwork piles up. Looking out the window, you can see all the other tall buildings in Salt Lake. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of IT companies nearby. We are just one of the offices here, doing our part in the industry. People come in and out, the tea guy makes his rounds, and we just focus on the work at hand. It’s not very exciting but it’s what we do. We’ve been in this building for a bit now and it works for us. It is just a normal office life for the team.
