We’ve been at this spot in Nehal Pur for a long time now. Most people around here know where to find us in the Basirhat area. It is a quiet corner of North 24 Parganas, really. The roads around the village can get pretty muddy when the monsoon hits, but we just deal with it. Our office isn't anything fancy to look at. It’s just a practical space where we handle our daily business. We don't spend much time worrying about how the building looks from the outside. The inside is full of old desks and stacks of paperwork that seem to grow every week. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, so we just sit and wait or talk until it comes back on. That is just life here. People from the village stop by to say hello or ask for help with things. We know everyone’s name and their families too. It feels like a small community even when things get busy. We don’t have a big corporate team, just a few of us who have worked together for years. We do what we need to do and go home to our families. There isn’t much more to it than that. We focus on the work right in front of us. If things go wrong, we try to fix them the next day. It’s a simple way of living and working. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to keep the business going and stay honest with the people we deal with every day.
