North Point Day School Joynagar

North Point Day School Joynagar is tucked away in Gocharan, near the post office. We are part of the South 24 Parganas district, and things are a bit slower-paced here than in the big cities. Our school serves the local community in the 743391 area. The building itself is simple and sits among the local houses and shops. We’ve been operating here for a while, and most people in the village know us by name. The day usually starts with the sound of the bell and the shuffle of feet as the students head to their classes. We don't have all the latest high-tech gadgets, but we have enough books and chalkboards to get the job done. The teachers are mostly locals who have a real connection to the students and their families. We spend our time working through the lessons, from Bengali to mathematics. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts or heavy rains that make the roads a bit muddy, but we just carry on as usual. There is a sense of togetherness here that you might not find in a larger city school. We don't put up big billboards or run ads in the newspapers. People just know we are here because their siblings or friends went here too. It’s a humble place, and we are quite content with being a reliable school for the children in Joynagar and Gocharan. Our doors have been open for years and we hope to keep it that way for the next generation.
