Lokenath Trade & Communication Lotus Impex

If you find yourself over at Golap Bhawan Market near Basunagar Gate No. 1, you will probably see our place. We go by Lokenath Trade & Communication Lotus Impex and we are right in the thick of the Madhyamgram crowd. It is a loud place with people shouting and bikes zooming past all day long. We do a mix of things here, mostly trading and keeping the communication lines open for whatever comes our way. The office is a bit small and we have stuff stacked up in the corners because there never seems to be enough room. We get a lot of walk-ins who just want to ask questions or see what we have in stock. It can get a bit chaotic when three people are trying to talk to you at once and the phone is ringing at the same time. We don’t have some polished way of doing things. We just try to be helpful and get the job done right then and there. Some days it feels like we are just chasing our own tails, but we manage. We’ve got a couple of ceiling fans that squeak a lot but they keep the air moving. Dealing with the market life means you never know exactly what the day will bring. One minute it is quiet and the next it is a complete madhouse. We just stay at our desks and keep working through it.
