Lasting Impressions

If you find yourself walking down M. B. Road in Nimta, you will eventually pass by our place at number 155. Lasting Impressions is where we spend most of our waking hours. It is a humble spot, nothing like those big corporate offices you see over in the city center. We mostly deal with printing and the small design jobs that the local folks around here need. The machines are usually humming away in the background, which becomes a sort of white noise after you work here for a while. Nimta is a quiet enough area, but the road gets its fair share of traffic during the rush hours. We started small and stayed that way, which helps us keep track of every little detail. The walls are covered with old samples and notes we have scribbled to ourselves over the years. It is not perfectly organized, but we know where every tool is kept. Rain sometimes leaks a little near the back window when it pours hard, but we just put a bucket there and keep working. Working in a place like this means you know your customers by their first names. They drop in to check on their orders or just to chat for a minute while the ink dries. We do not use fancy words to describe what we do. It is just paper and ink at the end of the day. Every job is a bit different, and that keeps it interesting enough for us to keep coming back.
