E L Dorado is located on Ramnagar Road. You can’t really miss us because we are right beside the Uco Bank. That bank is a bit of a landmark for people around here. We’ve been at this location for some time now. The shop is a simple place where we keep our inventory and talk to our customers. We don't have a big fancy storefront with glowing lights. It's just a regular door with our name on it. Most of our customers are locals who live nearby or work in the area. We know many of them by name. Our day starts with opening the shop and sweeping the front. Then we check what orders we have and what needs to be restocked. We don't use much technology besides a basic computer for billing. We prefer talking to people directly. It’s a lot more personal that way. Ramnagar Road gets a lot of foot traffic, so there’s always someone stopping by to ask a question or look at what we have. We aren't trying to expand into a giant chain or anything like that. We are happy with our single spot next to the bank. It provides a steady routine and we like being part of the local street. We just provide what people need and try to be honest about what we can do. It’s a good way to live and work. Usually, we close up right as the bank staff is heading home.
