Das Company

We are over in Barakhathalia. It is near the Suili post office and the Titagarh police station. The shop is just a regular place where we get things done every day. It gets pretty hot here in the afternoons, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving. We started out small and stayed that way because it's easier to manage things ourselves. There is always some noise from the street outside. People walk by and peek in while we are working on orders. The walls are a bit stained from the monsoon rain last year, but that doesn't stop us from getting the work finished. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It is just us and our tools in this space. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour or two, so we just sit outside and wait it out. It is a quiet enough area most of the time. We know most of the people who live around here in Titagarh. They stop by just to say hello or ask how things are going. We just try to keep up with the work as it comes in. Most days are pretty much the same, but that is fine with us. We handle everything from the front desk, which is really just an old wooden table. It works for what we need and for the people who stop by the shop.
