Up here in Sector-6 at Mohan Singh Market, things are always moving fast. We’ve got this office at R K Puram where we sit around and put websites together for all sorts of people. It’s a small space, honestly, and the desks are usually covered in wires and half-empty tea cups. We aren't some big corporation with suits; we mostly just wear jeans and try to get the code right before the day ends. The market outside is noisy which can be distracting when you’re trying to find a bug in the system. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a minute for the backup to kick in. We do a lot of different things, from making buttons work to making sure the pictures look right on a phone screen. It is just a handful of us working here. We don’t have any fancy perks, just a water cooler and a decent internet connection that we pay too much for. If you come by, you’ll probably see us arguing about which font looks better or why a certain page isn’t loading. It’s a bit messy but we know where everything is. People come in from the market asking for help with their sites and we just tell them how it is. It’s a regular job for us and we’ve been at it for a while now.
