Vishal Mechanical Works

If you walk down E-53 in Noida Sector-6, you’ll find us at Vishal Mechanical Works. Our shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a big shutter and the sound of machines running. Inside, we’ve got lathes and some old grinding wheels that have been with us since we started. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings, no matter how much we sweep. We do a lot of custom jobs, like turning parts or fixing broken machinery that people bring in from other small factories nearby. It is greasy work and our uniforms usually show it. We don't have a secretary, so if the phone rings, one of us has to wipe our hands on a rag before picking it up. We’ve been in Sector-6 long enough to know most of the other shop owners on this lane. Sometimes we take on small repairs for walk-ins, and other times we are stuck on one big piece of equipment for three days straight. We don't put on any acts here. If a part is too worn out to be fixed, we just tell the customer it's better to buy a new one. Vishal Mechanical Works is built on just showing up every day and getting the lathes spinning. The lighting isn't the best in the back of the shop, but we know where every wrench and bolt is kept. It’s a loud place, but it's where we feel most comfortable.
