Jay Ram Engineering

Our shop is located at C-71 in Sector 8. It’s a small place where we do general engineering and repair work. We don’t have a big fancy sign, but if you look for C-71 you’ll see our tools and machines inside. We’ve been here in Sector 8 for a good long while now. The space is a bit tight because we have quite a few machines squeezed in, but we make it work. It’s mostly manual labor here. We do things like turning, milling, and fixing broken parts that people bring in. It’s a very hands-on job and we are usually covered in some kind of grease or dust by the end of the day. We don't have a website or do any big advertising. Most of our work comes from people in the neighborhood or other small businesses nearby who know we can fix things. The shop gets pretty warm in the summer, but we have some big fans that help a bit. It’s a friendly enough place. We often have people dropping by just to ask a quick question or see if we can help with a small project. We don't have any polished speeches about what we do. We just look at the part, see if we can fix it, and tell you how long it will take. It’s a straightforward way of doing business and it’s served us well over the years. We are just regular folks working with metal.
